Job Description

Can you turn an event into something people genuinely want to be part of?

Not just another conference.

A brand people follow.

Content people share.

An experience people talk about before it even happens.

That’s the role.

We’re hiring a Marketing Manager to help shape how our events are seen, experienced and remembered.

You’ll work closely with our Growth Marketing Manager, who leads on data, AI-driven outreach, targeting and audience acquisition.

Your role is different.

You’ll focus on the messaging, campaigns, content and creative execution that give those outreach efforts something worth engaging with in the first place.

This is about building a marketing engine around the events themselves.

The stories.

The positioning.

The energy.

The reasons people pay attention.

What This Actually Is

This is a hands-on marketing role inside a fast-moving events business.

You’ll help bring our conferences to life across websites, brochures, social media, email campaigns, speaker promotions, videos, partnerships and branded content.

You’ll think about how we present our events to the market and how every piece of marketing works harder for the business.

That could mean:

  • Turning speaker interviews into weeks of content
  • Building campaigns around major themes and sessions
  • Creating sponsor and attendee brochures that genuinely get read
  • Helping shape event messaging and positioning
  • Managing social and promotional activity around launches and announcements
  • Working with designers, video editors and the wider team to deliver campaigns
  • Making sure great content doesn’t disappear after one use

You’ll work closely with our Growth Marketing Manager to ensure the audience growth strategy and the marketing narrative are fully aligned.

One side drives targeting and reach.

The other makes people want to engage.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and execute marketing campaigns for our conferences and virtual events.
  • Help shape the positioning, messaging and tone of our brands.
  • Create and coordinate content across LinkedIn, websites, email campaigns and event materials.
  • Develop brochures, sales collateral and promotional assets for sponsors and attendees.
  • Turn speaker conversations, panels and event insights into ongoing marketing content.
  • Support event launches, agenda announcements and key campaign moments.
  • Work closely with the Growth Marketing Manager to align campaigns with audience and growth goals.
  • Help ensure content is organised, repurposed and working hard across the business.
  • Coordinate with conference production, sales and operations teams to ensure marketing activity supports commercial goals.
  • Help adapt campaigns, messaging and creative presentation for different international markets, ensuring our events feel relevant and culturally aligned across regions including the UK, USA and Asia.

You’ll understand that audiences in London, Charlotte and Singapore do not always respond in the same way - and you’ll enjoy thinking carefully about those differences.

What Success Looks Like

  • Our events feel visible, relevant and hard to ignore.
  • Marketing campaigns feel joined-up, consistent and commercially focused.
  • Content gets reused intelligently instead of constantly starting from scratch.
  • Sponsors and attendees clearly understand the value of being involved.
  • Event launches build momentum and anticipation.
  • The business develops a stronger content engine and brand presence year-round.
  • The Growth Marketing Manager has a strong creative and campaign partner to work alongside.

Who You Are

You will have a minimum of 3 years B2B event marketing experience.

You’re creative but commercially aware.

You understand how to market something in a way that builds interest and credibility.

You’re organised enough to manage multiple campaigns and moving parts at once.

You know how to write copy that sounds human.

You’re comfortable working in a business where ideas move quickly and standards are high.

And you like the idea of helping shape the voice and visibility of a growing brand.

Location & Working Pattern

This role is fully remote, with travel to our events in the UK and US and occasional team gatherings.

Because our audience spans the UK and US, you will need to be comfortable working flexibly across time zones - including some early mornings or evenings to align with US contacts. We are happy to flex working hours around that, not on top of it.

Compensation

£37,500 - £45,000 depending on experience.
