Job Description
Who we are Ekam Apps is a lean, AI-first studio building products and automation for clients across India and Australia. We ship fast with a small team because our entire workflow runs on Claude and AI-native dev tools.
We also build our own products under Turrant.ai:
Turrant - AI-powered process automation for document collection, verification, and approvals across WhatsApp, email, and branded portals. 50+ document types, 800+ government source verifications, 250+ integrations, no-code.
ComWise - unified WhatsApp + web chat inbox with an AI copilot, workflow automation, broadcast campaigns, and one-click human takeover. Powered by Claude, Gemini, and GPT with vector-search grounding.
You'll work directly with the founder, Nitin Gupta — 19+ years in tech, 12+ in leadership across India Today Group, Lenskart, SeniorWorld, and Zecross.
You'll be mentored by Alok, Head of QA - a quality engineering leader with deep experience building and leading QA & automation teams at India Today Group, Boutiqaat, R Systems, Ephesoft, and Snapdeal. He's led enterprise platform modernization, AI/ML product QA, end-to-end test automation frameworks.
The role We're looking for a QA intern who is sharp, detail-oriented, and comfortable using AI tools to test and automate testing of AI-powered products. You won't just follow test scripts - you'll think like a user, break things, build automation where it makes sense, and help us ship better software.
You'll test across Turrant, ComWise, and client projects. That means chat interfaces, WhatsApp flows, document verification pipelines, API integrations, and AI-generated responses — sometimes all in a single week.
Good fit for: students or recent graduates who want to build a career testing and automating AI products in a high-ownership environment.
What you'll do
- Test web apps, APIs, and AI-powered features across multiple products
- Build and maintain test automation for applications and features where applicable — UI flows, API endpoints, regression suites
- Write and execute test cases for new features and bug fixes
- Test AI responses for accuracy, hallucinations, and edge cases
- Test integrations — WhatsApp flows, CRM syncs, payment gateways, document verification
- File clean bug reports — steps to reproduce, screenshots, expected vs actual
- Use AI tools to write test cases, generate automation scripts, and surface edge cases faster
- Run regression cycles before releases
- Build and maintain test documentation
- Switch between projects as priorities shift

Who you are
- Humble, low ego. You give feedback constructively, not combatively. You work well with developers, teammates, and clients.
- Detail-obsessed. You notice what others miss — a misaligned button, the wrong error message, the edge case nobody thought of.
- AI-native. You reach for Claude or ChatGPT instinctively — to write test cases, generate automation scripts, explore edge cases, understand features faster.
- Reliable. You show up, follow through, and flag blockers early. Simple but rare.
Requirements
- Pursuing or completed B.Tech in CS, IT, or ECE (students and recent graduates welcome)
- Basic understanding of web apps — frontend, backend, APIs, databases
- Willingness to learn and apply test automation frameworks
- Comfortable with AI tools — Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot
- Strong attention to detail and a knack for finding things that don't work right
- Good written communication — clear bug reports and test docs
- Comfortable with browser dev tools (network tab, console)
