Job Description
About PlexTrac
PlexTrac is a cybersecurity SaaS platform helping security teams streamline reporting, exposure management, and remediation workflows. Our platform is used by penetration testers, red teams, consultants, enterprises, and managed security providers to operationalize security findings and improve collaboration across technical and executive stakeholders.
We are a remote-first company headquartered in the United States with distributed team members across North America, Europe, and Asia. We are committed to ownership, transparency, practical problem-solving, and building products that customers genuinely rely on.
Why This Role Matters
We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to help shape the future of exposure management and security operations within the PlexTrac platform. This role will partner closely with engineering, design and go-to-market teams to define and deliver capabilities that help customers better understand, prioritize, and remediate security risk.
This is a remote first hands-on senior individual contributor role that will drive product strategy, translate customer and market needs into actionable roadmap priorities, and ensure successful delivery across both cloud and hosted deployment environments. Join us at an exciting stage as we continue scaling our platform and product organization.
Location: Remote — U.K., Ireland & India only.
Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap end-to-end across our cloud and hosted deployment models — set priorities, make trade-offs, and defend your decisions with data
- Work closely with engineering to scope, spec, and ship features on time
- Talk to customers regularly. Understand their security pain points — alert fatigue, asset blind spots, remediation bottlenecks, and compliance pressure — and bring those insights back into the product
- Define success metrics for every major initiative and track them after launch
- Align stakeholders across sales, marketing, and customer success on what we're building and why
- Identify gaps in the market and translate them into clear product opportunities
- Support sales on complex enterprise deals when deep product knowledge is needed
- Mentor and give feedback to junior PMs on the team

- Comfort working directly with engineering teams in an agile environment
- Track record of shipping products that customers actually use and that move business metrics
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks relevant to enterprise security buyers (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, FIPS140, Fedramp, CSF, etc)
