Job Description

Threat Intelligence Analyst (AI Training)

About The Role

We partner with the world's leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. Now, we're looking for experienced threat intelligence professionals to help shape how AI understands, reasons about, and communicates real-world cyber threats.

Your expertise in adversary behavior, campaign tracking, and CTI workflows will directly influence the quality and accuracy of frontier AI systems — work that genuinely matters.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Analyze and classify threat reports, adversary campaigns, and attacker behavior using your real-world CTI experience
  • Evaluate indicators of compromise, TTPs, and end-to-end attack narratives for accuracy and realism
  • Generate, structure, and validate threat intelligence data used to train and assess AI systems
  • Review AI-generated security outputs and flag inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or fabricated attacker behavior
  • Apply frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to assess and annotate threat scenarios with precision
  • Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments that fit your schedule

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in threat intelligence, SOC operations, or security analysis
  • Solid understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, OSINT collection, or CTI workflows
  • Sharp ability to distinguish genuine attacker behavior from noise, synthetic data, or fabricated scenarios
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills — you can explain complex threat activity clearly
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote, task-based environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with threat hunting, malware analysis, or incident response
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) or structured reporting formats (STIX/TAXII)
  • Background in writing threat intelligence reports or briefings for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Prior experience working with AI tools or data annotation projects

Why Join Us

  • Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top-tier research labs
  • Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule, on your terms
  • Freelance autonomy with meaningful, intellectually engaging work
  • Contribute to AI that better understands and reasons about real cybersecurity threats
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as projects evolve
