About the Role
We are looking for a PHP Developer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on backend development, web applications, APIs, and intelligent software engineering workflows.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to PHP applications, server-side logic, database integration, API development, and scalable backend systems, helping improve how AI models understand and solve real-world web engineering challenges.
Your expertise will contribute to improving AI systems used for intelligent coding assistants, backend automation, scalable web platforms, and AI-powered software development workflows.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated PHP and backend engineering outputs
- Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency
- Assess AI outputs for code quality, scalability, security, maintainability, and backend performance
- Identify bugs, inefficient logic, database issues, API gaps, or security vulnerabilities in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Support workflows involving backend systems, REST APIs, databases, authentication systems, and web application development
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on intelligent coding and scalable backend engineering workflows

Requirements
- Strong proficiency in PHP and backend web development
- Experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter is preferred
- Strong understanding of MySQL, REST APIs, authentication systems, server-side architecture, and database optimization
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, and cloud/server environments is a plus
- Experience with scalable web applications, CMS platforms, or enterprise systems is preferred
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
