DevOps Engineer for AI-Native Engineering Teams

Our platform powers contextual AI workflows through MCP integrations, engineering memory systems, autonomous debugging, intelligent PR reviews, and self-healing engineering operations.

We are an early-stage remote startup building ambitious infrastructure for the future of AI-assisted software development.

Role Description

We are looking for a strong DevOps Engineer with deep AWS and CI/CD experience to help build and scale the infrastructure behind Memnox.

You will work on:

• scalable cloud infrastructure
• CI/CD automation
• observability systems
• AI infrastructure operations
• deployment reliability
• event-driven systems
• autonomous engineering workflows
• secure and scalable platform operations

You will collaborate closely with backend and AI engineers to design resilient systems capable of supporting large-scale ingestion pipelines, contextual reasoning infrastructure, MCP integrations, and AI-assisted development workflows.

This is a fully remote role with significant ownership and impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines across multiple services and environments

• Improve platform reliability, observability, and deployment workflows
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational processes
• Manage Docker-based environments and container orchestration workflows
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging systems
• Optimize cloud costs, scalability, and performance
• Support secure infrastructure practices and access management
• Collaborate on infrastructure for AI workloads, vector systems, and event pipelines
• Contribute to self-healing CI/CD and autonomous operational workflows

Qualifications

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC)
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of Docker and containerized environments
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation)
• Experience with Linux systems and production infrastructure
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tooling
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and distributed systems
• Strong debugging and operational problem-solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
