Job Description
We are seeking a Principal Test Automation Engineer to support advanced enterprise and AI-driven networking environments. This role will be responsible for driving test strategy, automation, and quality validation across complex data center and enterprise network solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute end-to-end test topologies and test cases based on customer and business requirements
- Partner with AI Infrastructure Test Engineering teams to improve solution coverage and reduce customer-found defects
- Review and enhance Python automation for scalable regression and validation testing
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software and networking issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate multidimensional deployment scenarios and performance benchmarks
- Support replication and root cause analysis of customer-reported issues
- Work closely with architecture and product development teams to align testing strategies with customer network priorities
- Provide proof-of-concept validations for emerging customer use cases and technologies
- Partner with global engineering teams, architects, and leadership stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 10+ years of networking experience
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP, EVPN-VXLAN, MPLS, OSPF/ISIS, Multicast, NAT, GRE, IPSec, and related protocols
- Experience with enterprise, cloud provider, and AI/ML data center technologies
- Expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies, CLOS architecture, and HA design concepts
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting using Python, Pytest, Go, or similar technologies
- Hands-on experience with networking test equipment such as Spirent and Ixia
- Strong communication and technical leadership skills
