Job title:- System Administrator (W2 only)

Job Location: - 100% Remote Role

Job Duration: - 17 Months contract (with possible extension)

Job Description:

System Administrator

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our dynamic team.
• In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our in-house information systems.
• This includes monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all server hardware, software, and associated operating systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in driving resolution to incidents/issues and meeting SLAs. Ensure solutions meet SLAs for a given design/solution.
• Attend team meetings and promptly respond to team communications, providing timely updates on assignment statuses.
• Understand the infrastructure layout for applications and the various teams supporting the infrastructure and operational processes.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Unix: Strong experience working in Unix/Linux environments and commands.
• Java-based Middleware: Experience supporting middleware applications built on Java technologies (WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, etc.).
• MQ: Messaging Queue technologies like IBM MQ or message brokers.
• Databases: Ability to work with databases, likely SQL-based systems.
• SRE (Orchestration, CI/CD): Site Reliability Engineering experience including:
• Automation/orchestration tools
• CI/CD pipelines
• Deployment and operational reliability
