WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for an experienced QA Test Engineer & DevOps with strong expertise in Android Automotive OS (AAOS), CI/CD infrastructure, and automated testing to lead the quality assurance strategy of application deployment in automotive infotainment systems.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Define, maintain, and execute the overall QA and testing strategy for the Android Automotive IVI application, following an emulator-first validation approach.
- Establish and manage a clear separation between emulator-based and hardware-based testing workflows.
- Develop and maintain AAOS build and release pipelines, including signing, packaging, build variants, and OEM sideloading artifacts.
- Coordinate hardware validation activities together with the customer’s engineering team.
- Ensure fast and reliable feedback loops between emulator testing and target hardware validation.
- Support OEM validation, Google Play release preparation, and production readiness activities.
- Manage release governance processes including environment configurations, feature flags, rollback procedures, and release traceability.
- Validate offline navigation workflows, connectivity transition scenarios, and map performance across automotive environments.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- 4+ years of experience in QA Test Engineering and DevOps
- Strong understanding of Android Automotive OS (AAOS) build, integration, and testing frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management for Android-based platforms.
- Hands-on experience testing applications across emulator and physical hardware environments.
- Experience with navigation-focused IVI applications, especially offline navigation and connectivity transition testing.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Ability to work effectively in Linux-based environments and collaborate with distributed teams.
