MUST:

• 3 years minimum as a BA within Banking and data
• Banking experience (knows deposits vs loans, basic lingo)
• Comes from a cloud environment (azure is a plus)
• Strong with documentation + highly organized
• Great communication
• Strong experience writing user stories

DAY TO DAY:

• Our banking client is seeking a BA to join their team in a fully remote consulting role. This BA will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the data engineering team, gathering, documenting, and refining business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria. Collaborate closely with stakeholders across banking functions to translate business needs into actionable requirements, ensuring impacts across dependent teams and systems are identified and addressed. Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira to manage requirements, maintain documentation, and support an organized intake and prioritization process. Perform data analysis using SQL to validate requirements, analyze data quality, and support decision-making. Work within a cloud-based environment, preferably Azure, and partner daily with data engineers to support the delivery of data solutions. Contribute to the establishment and continuous improvement of formalized intake, requirements management, and documentation processes. Banking domain knowledge, including familiarity with deposits, loans, and related terminology, is essential. Experience with Power BI or Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
