Key Responsibilities
Optimize operational workflows by managing, monitoring, and tuning internal business applications directing everyday operational and data workflows
Coordinate scheduling and automation by overseeing timing, execution, and troubleshooting of tasks, automated jobs, and scripts within system databases
Maintain BI reporting by monitoring and supporting scheduled dashboards and automated reports across BI platforms like Looker and Power BI
Administer secure portals by creating, auditing, and maintaining secure login accounts for internal and external users
Ensure data integrity by executing data imports/exports across business systems and conducting systematic data cleansing and preparation
Collaborate with IT by defining and supplying technical requirements and step-by-step procedures for advanced data pulls
Perform quality assurance by conducting rigorous reviews of automated reports generated by IT to ensure absolute accuracy
Analyze trends by querying and evaluating disparate data types to identify operational trends and proactively present creative solutions

As a BI Engineer I, you will serve as the essential bridge between our Operations, Business Technology, and Client Management teams. Your core mission is to enhance communication and workflow execution through data-driven analysis. You will manage internal operational applications, oversee task scheduling, administer security portals, and maintain business intelligence reports.

  • Optimize Operational Workflows: Manage, monitor, and tune internal business applications directing everyday operational and data workflows.
  • Coordinate Scheduling & Automation: Oversee the timing, execution, and troubleshooting of tasks, automated jobs, and scripts within system databases.
  • Maintain BI Reporting: Monitor and support scheduled dashboards and automated reports across BI platforms like Looker and Power BI.
  • Administer Secure Portals: Manage the corporate SFTP Portal by creating, auditing, and maintaining secure login accounts for internal and external users.
  • Ensure Data Integrity: Execute data imports/exports across business systems, conducting systematic data cleansing and preparation.
  • Collaborate with IT: Define and supply technical requirements and step-by-step procedures to the core IT department for advanced data pulls.

Must-Haves (Required):

  • Education & Experience: 0โ€“3 years of professional experience in a data-oriented, IT, or business technology role OR a BS in a technical/analytical discipline.

  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with SFTP protocols, secure file sharing, and basic system account management.
