Chumley is an early-stage tech startup building software that gives tradespeople the flexibility and tools they need to focus on their work, streamlining workflows and keeping more engineers operating at optimum levels. The team is small, ambitious, and focused on shipping practical, high-impact tools used in the field every day.
Chumley is looking for a Graphic Designer to help define how the brand looks, feels, and communicates across every touchpoint. You'll work closely with founders, marketing, and product teams to create visuals that tell compelling stories, strengthen the brand, and help Chumley stand out in a crowded market.

What you'll be doing
- Creating high-quality visual assets for social media, website content, presentations, product launches, marketing campaigns, and sales materials.
- Developing and evolving Chumley's visual identity across digital and print channels.
- Designing social media graphics, carousels, infographics, illustrations, advertisements, and branded content.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to turn ideas, product updates, and customer stories into engaging visual content.
- Supporting founder branding and thought leadership with creative assets and presentation design.
- Producing graphics and creative concepts that communicate complex ideas in a clear and visually appealing way.
- Working closely with product and design teams to ensure consistency across brand and product experiences.
- Using AI-powered creative tools and modern workflows to increase output, experiment with new ideas, and improve efficiency.
- Maintaining and expanding brand guidelines, templates, and design systems.

What we're looking for
- Strong graphic design skills with a portfolio that demonstrates creativity, versatility, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Canva, or similar.
- A strong understanding of typography, layout, colour, visual hierarchy, and branding.
- Ability to create designs that are both aesthetically strong and commercially effective.
- Experience designing for social media, digital marketing, websites, and online campaigns.
- Self-directed, organised, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take feedback and iterate quickly.
- Curiosity about startups, SaaS, AI, and the future of work.
Nice to have
- Experience creating motion graphics, animations, or video content.
- Familiarity with tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Runway.
- Experience working with startup brands, B2B SaaS companies, or technology businesses.
- Knowledge of UI design principles and experience contributing to digital product experiences.
- Illustration, icon design, or custom visual asset creation experience.
- Experience using AI tools such as Midjourney, ChatGPT, Claude, or Adobe Firefly as part of your creative workflow.
