CouchSide Coordinators is a remote administrative support agency that specializes in supporting therapists, wellness professionals, and female entrepreneurs. Our mission is simple: help our clients spend less time behind the scenes and more time doing what they love.
We pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with our clients and providing personalized, high-touch support. Every client is paired with a dedicated team member who learns their business, communication style, and goals.
We’re currently looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our growing team as an independent contractor.
This is not a content mill position.
Our Social Media Managers serve as trusted partners to their clients. You’ll manage a small portfolio of accounts, collaborate directly with clients each month, develop engaging content, and help execute social media strategies that reflect each client’s unique brand and voice.
Because our clients work closely with one dedicated manager, we’re looking for someone who values relationship-building, communicates proactively, and takes ownership of their accounts.
Responsibilities may include:
- Managing multiple client social media accounts
- Creating engaging graphics using Canva
- Writing captions tailored to each client’s brand voice
- Scheduling content across social media platforms (Instagram and Facebook)
- Collaborating with clients to gather photos, videos, and content ideas
- Creating reels, carousel posts, and static posts
- Monitoring deadlines and ensuring content is delivered on time
- Communicating professionally with clients through email and Slack
- Following established workflows and SOPs
- Collaborating with other members of the CouchSide Coordinators team when needed

- Has previous experience managing social media accounts for businesses
- Is highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Has excellent written communication skills
- Is comfortable giving and receiving feedback
- Can maintain a consistent brand voice across multiple clients
- Is proactive and doesn’t wait until a deadline has passed to communicate
- Is dependable, responsive, and follows through on commitments
- Enjoys building long-term relationships with clients
- Is comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
While not required, preference may be given to candidates with experience working with:
- Therapists or private practices
- Healthcare or wellness professionals
- Female entrepreneurs
- Service-based businesses
Experience with the following is a plus:
- Canva
- Meta Business Suite
- Google Drive
- Slack
- Flodesk or other email marketing platforms
- Basic video editing for short-form content
