Automation Engineer

100% Remote LATAM.

Experience 12+ Years

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product owners and other application developers to design, code, and maintain high quality, desktop-based applications against established processes in a scrum team setting
• Perform automated and manual testing against curated requirements
• Create and maintain software test cases to ensure feature and code quality
• Assist software developers and domain experts in designing, performing, and improving verification tests

Required:

• Demonstrated success in collaborating in a fast-paced team environment and delivering high-quality software products using established agile development methodologies (such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.) against formal schedules
• Strong understanding of test design across unit, integration, and E2E levels
• Extensive knowledge and experience with TypeScript, C#, Javascript, or similar

• Good understanding of SOA, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, web security architecture, and other architectural patterns
• Proficient in NUnit or similar test framework for writing both unit tests and more complex automated integration tests
• Proficient with source control management repositories (such as GIT, SVN, etc.)
• Good understanding of object oriented programming and writing unit tests against mock objects
• Experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, TeamCity is a plus

Desired:

• Proficient in Web UI Automation frameworks: WebdriverIO, Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent
• Possess proven troubleshooting skills
• Be curious, detail oriented, and analytical, with a proven ability to learn quickly
• Be customer-focused, team-oriented, and motivated, taking ownership of assigned tasks
• Have proven ability to self-manage, as well as manage interdisciplinary relationships
• Have proven verbal and written communication skills

Experience

• 7+ years experience in Software Testing
• 7+ years software development experience in one or more of the following programming languages or equivalent: TypeScript, C#, Javascript
• Solid understanding of automated and manual testing techniques
• Strong experience testing web and/or desktop software, both front‑end and back‑end
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
