Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Epic Business Intelligence Analyst Sr to develop enterprise reporting, analytics, and business intelligence solutions that transform healthcare data into meaningful insights.

This role partners closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists, and technical teams to design, develop, and maintain reporting assets, dashboards, and analytics solutions within the Epic ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Epic reporting tools, healthcare workflows, and data modeling, along with strong programming and reporting expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise reporting and analytics solutions
• Develop self-service reporting assets and dashboards for business users
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical reporting solutions
• Build and maintain reporting assets using Epic reporting tools and databases
• Create meaningful visualizations, metrics, and automated reporting solutions

Epic Analytics Development

• Develop reporting solutions utilizing:
• Epic Clarity
• Caboodle
• Cogito
• Epic Registries
• Epic Extract Framework
• Custom Radar SQL Metrics
• Data Links
• Predictive Model configurations
• Develop advanced SQL-based reporting solutions
• Support ETL processes for enterprise data warehouse initiatives
• Validate data accuracy and reporting integrity across multiple systems

Business Partnership

• Partner with stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements

• Translate business needs into technical specifications
• Present reporting solutions and recommendations to business leaders
• Support data literacy by educating users on reporting tools and analytics capabilities

Technical Leadership

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and production support
• Lead reporting best practices and quality standards
• Mentor junior Business Intelligence Developers
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and cross-functional planning activities
• Support enterprise reporting governance and development standards

Data & Analytics

• Work closely with Data Engineers and Data Architects to validate data models
• Support dimensional and relational data model development
• Deliver advanced analytics that help solve complex business problems
• Promote continuous improvement in reporting processes and analytics capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in:
• Computer Science
• Information Systems
• Software Development
• Mathematics
• Engineering
• Business
• Or related field
• 5+ years of experience in:
• Business Intelligence
• Analytics Development
• Reporting Development
• Software Development
• Strong programming and reporting experience
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
