Job Description


This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Training Manager based in the United States.

This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the training strategy and knowledge management framework for a high-performing customer service organization. You will drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of learning programs that enhance employee performance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. Working in a collaborative remote environment, you will lead a team of training professionals, develop scalable learning solutions, and support organizational growth through effective coaching and change management. This position is ideal for an experienced learning and development leader who thrives on building impactful training initiatives, optimizing knowledge resources, and empowering teams to succeed.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the strategic planning, development, and continuous improvement of training programs, onboarding initiatives, and knowledge management processes to support operational excellence and employee success.
  • Manage and mentor a team of training specialists while providing leadership to the support desk function, fostering professional development, accountability, and a culture of continuous learning.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance knowledge repositories, training documentation, and learning resources to ensure accurate, accessible, and up-to-date information across the organization.
  • Analyze performance metrics, identify learning gaps, and implement targeted training solutions that improve service quality, employee performance, and participant satisfaction.
  • Apply instructional design best practices, including the ADDIE methodology, to create engaging and effective learning experiences for both new and existing employees.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align training initiatives with business objectives, support organizational change, and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Oversee training operations, including performance management, coaching, recruitment support, succession planning, and the successful delivery of departmental goals and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in training, learning and development, knowledge management, or a related field, including experience leading teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, training program development, and knowledge management best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience designing accessible and inclusive learning materials for both virtual and in-person audiences.
  • Proven ability to analyze performance data, identify development opportunities, and implement effective training strategies based on measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, mentoring, relationship-building, and change management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage projects independently and deliver results.
  • Experience within contact center or travel services environments is considered an asset but is not required.
  • Reliable home office setup with a stable internet connection and a commitment to collaboration, integrity, confidentiality, diversity, and mutual respect.
