About the role
Our partner is a London based organization that oversees complex corporate structures and requires high levels of data clarity to manage their operations. We are adding a Frontend Engineer Intern to our team to help build and refine the digital tools our principals use to monitor these portfolios. This role is necessary to translate our strategic advice into functional, clear interfaces that support critical decision making for the boards we advise.

What you will do
  • Build and maintain user interfaces for internal tools that help track mandate progress and portfolio health.
  • Translate wireframes and functional descriptions into clean, maintainable code using modern frontend languages.
  • Collaborate with principals to ensure the digital tools reflect the specific governance requirements of each client engagement.
  • Review existing codebases to identify performance bottlenecks and suggest practical improvements to the user experience.
  • Document frontend logic and component libraries to ensure the longevity and clarity of the systems we build.
  • Participate in technical discussions to form a view on which frameworks and libraries best suit our specific project needs.
  • Proactively identify styling or layout issues in internal dashboards and resolve them to maintain high standards of presentation.

What we are looking for
  • Basic proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with some exposure to modern frameworks such as React or Vue through studies or personal projects.
  • A clear, logical approach to problem solving and the ability to explain technical choices in plain English to non technical colleagues.
  • Excellent written precision, as much of our coordination happens through written documentation and asynchronous digital communication.
  • Genuine curiosity about how corporate strategy and technology intersect in a professional services context.
  • Strong attention to detail, specifically regarding layout consistency and how information is presented to senior decision makers.
  • The ability to work independently within a fully remote structure, managing your own time effectively to meet project milestones.
