About ARCHIE Lab
ARCHIE Lab is a newly founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides microgrants to youth from diverse backgrounds to pursue research, creative, and community-impact projects. We believe brilliant ideas can come from anywhere, and that every young person deserves the resources and mentorship to make their vision real.
The Role
We are looking for our first Marketing & Social Media Director to build ARCHIE Labβs digital presence from scratch. You will own how we show up online β launching our social channels, shaping our brand voice, and helping us reach students who could benefit from our grants. This is a leadership role with real ownership: you set the strategy and, as we grow, recruit and lead a small team of volunteer officers under you.
Responsibilities
- Launch and manage ARCHIE Labβs Instagram and LinkedIn presence from day one.
- Develop a simple, consistent brand identity (voice, look, templates) across our digital channels.
- Plan and create a regular content calendar β posts, stories, and updates that reach students, mentors, and supporters.
- Help publicize our pilot grant cycle and drive applications from eligible youth.
- Work with the coordinators to suggest updates to the website content (we can request edits as needed).
- As the organization grows, recruit and supervise volunteer social media / content officers.
- Track simple metrics (reach, engagement, applications driven) and share whatβs working.
