Job Title: Robot Application Developer

Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)

Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2

Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually

Experience Required: 6+ years

Job Summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Robot Application Developer to design, develop, and integrate software for autonomous robotic systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C++, Python, ROS/ROS 2, perception, motion planning, and robotics software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop robotics applications using C++ and Python

• Design and integrate sensor pipelines (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, and other sensors)
• Implement perception, localization, SLAM, motion planning, and control algorithms
• Develop applications using ROS/ROS 2 and integrate with robotic hardware
• Build and test robotic solutions using simulation tools such as Gazebo or Isaac Sim
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support field testing, and mentor junior engineers
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of robotics software development experience
