Information Technology Manager

Company Description Safa Global (subsidiary: Hayat Market) is expanding its operations in Somalia. We are seeking a skilled IT Manager to oversee technology infrastructure, ERP systems, and digital transformation across our hypermarket branches.

Requirements

Master`s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of professional IT experience, with relevant experience in enterprise or multi-location environments.

3+ years of experience in an IT management or senior IT leadership role.

Strong experience managing ERP and enterprise business applications.

Experience supporting retail, supermarket, FMCG, distribution, logistics, or similarly complex business operations.

Practical understanding of POS and retail technology.

Experience managing IT infrastructure and systems across multiple locations.

Strong understanding of networking, cloud services, databases, cybersecurity, backup, and disaster recovery.

Working knowledge of system integrations, APIs, SQL, and enterprise application environments.

Strong vendor, project, budget, and team management experience.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Strong written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing IT operations across multiple branches or countries.

Experience with large-scale ERP implementations or transformation projects.

Experience with cloud and modern enterprise technology environments.

Experience with business intelligence and reporting systems.

Relevant IT management, project management, cloud, ERP, or cybersecurity certifications.
