Full Stack Web Application Developer - Initial 6 month FTC

• Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
• Location: Fully remote
• Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2025, with potential for extension.
• Hours: 35 hours/week

Role Overview: We are seeking a Full Stack Web Application Developer with strong MVC experience to develop a multi-tenant data management web application. You'll be the sole developer, responsible for establishing conventions and strategies for a clean, maintainable codebase using the Grails framework on Linux.

Key Requirements:

• MVC frameworks (Ideally Grails/Jakarta EE/Spring)
• Database-driven web development
• ORM (Hibernate), PostgreSQL, JavaScript, Bootstrap
• UX skills, Linux setup
• Database/schema migrations and data mapping

Highly Desirable:

• Biodiversity data knowledge
• AWS experience (EC2, RDS)
