Key Responsibilities
- Design and prototype user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and align with the overall user experience goals of the platform.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to create user-centered designs that meet both business and user needs.
- Conduct user research, gather insights, and translate them into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and performance data.
- Ensure consistency and cohesion in the design language across different parts of the platform.
- Advocate for the end-user and ensure designs meet accessibility and usability standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design and apply them to improve the product.
- Proven experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and work.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design.
- Experience with prototyping tools and techniques to create interactive designs.
- Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas.
- Familiarity with front-end development principles and how design translates to code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions clearly.
- Experience designing for SaaS platforms or business/marketplace applications.
- Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first approaches.
- Experience with user testing and using analytics to inform design decisions.
