Database Architect (with Spanish)

Project Description:

We are looking for a Spanish-speaking Database Architect to join us for a project in the fashion retailing industry.

Responsibilities:

* Design, maintain and review database models of applications.

* Work closely with software developers to ensure that the database design supports application requirements and performance goals.

* Create data models that represent the structure and relationships of data within the database.

* Design logical and physical data models that optimize data storage and retrieval

* Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.

* Work on improving query performance by analyzing execution plans and making necessary adjustments in queries or data models.

Mandatory Skills Description:

* 7+ years of hands-on experience working with database technologies.

* Experience working with our database technologies: IBM DB2, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, MongoDB.

* Strong database architecture, engineering, and design skills.

* Software architecture and design.

* Excellent knowledge of the SQL language with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.

* Understand various relational and non-relational database technologies along with their benefits, downsides, and best use-case.

* Willingness and commitment to learn other database technologies.

* Experience in Agile development methodology & Agile development tools.

* Strong analytical skills.

* Ability to perform system monitoring and address various issues in the system.

* Ability to do performance tuning and database development.

* Great communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

* Passionate about technology and delivering solutions in integrated data environments.

Languages:

English: C1 Advanced

Spanish: C1 Advanced
