Full Stack Engineer Postgres

We're recruiting for a great US-based Tech Company!

We are seeking a talented and experienced back-end or full-stack software Rust engineer to join a dynamic team. As a self-starter with a strong passion for programming and software engineering excellence, you will play a crucial role in creating compelling secure APIs and applications.

Position:

• Fully-remote, work from anywhere / Only Americas time zones
• Potential for long-term engagement
• Flexible work hours in Americas time zones (company is based on the US-Pacific time zone)

Must have abilities + competencies:

• Exceptional English fluency (C1 level)
• Ability to articulate with great clarity and detail in both spoken and written communications
• A personal passion for software development beyond profession
• A self-starter with ability to work independently and self-manage
• Education and experience in software engineering beyond web development

Must have experience + knowledge:

• 4-5 years of experience, minimum
• Procedural SQL
• Rust language
• API development
• Strong database experience (Postgres highly preferred)
• Backend framework that is not JavaScript
• Typescript, JavaScript
• Testing, test frameworks and test-driven development
• Front-end web/app development
• Git and source control management

Nice to have:

• Solidity experience
• DevOps experience (esp. AWS Cloud)
• Game development experience
• Experience with GraphQL
• Opensource software contributions
