Job Description
Location: Fully remote (Europe/South Africa)
We are working exclusively with a forward-thinking, fast-growing Series B company driving digital transformation in an antiquated sector. They are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to enhance their cloud infrastructure while ensuring high-quality delivery. You’ll work directly with the cofounder and CTO in an ownership and feedback-oriented culture that embraces innovation and promotes personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage cloud infrastructure on GCP and Hetzner, including Kubernetes clusters.
- Maintain Kubernetes components like Vault, Redis, and NGINX ingress.
- Monitor performance and uptime using Grafana dashboards and alerts.
- Enhance security through improved authorization, network segmentation, and encryption.
- Optimize infrastructure, reduce costs, and improve developer experience.
- 2+ years with major cloud providers.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Resilient, adaptable, and open to feedback.
- Willing to support occasional off-hours deployments.
- GitHub Copilot license for AI-powered pair programming.
- IntelliJ PyCharm license (or other preferred development tools).
