Web3 Engineer - 12 Month Contract
- $80 - $90 CAD PER HOUR
- Fully Remote
Our client is seeking a Web3 Engineer to design and implement decentralized systems, smart contracts, and blockchain interoperability solutions. This role will focus on building cross-chain applications, optimizing blockchain performance, and ensuring the security and scalability of Web3 infrastructures.
The ideal candidate is fluent in multiple programming languages, adaptable to various blockchain protocols, and comfortable working within a collaborative engineering team consisting of backend engineers, AI teams, and front-end developers.
We are looking for someone who is well-versed in blockchain architecture, decentralized identity solutions, and tokenized ecosystems while bringing innovative thinking to Web3, AI, and financial technology applications.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in blockchain development, with experience in at least one of:
- Solidity, Rust, Go, C++, or JavaScript-based smart contract frameworks.
- Expertise in blockchain security, ensuring robust smart contract implementations.
- Hands-on experience with blockchain interoperability and cross-chain messaging solutions.
- Deep understanding of NFT standards, tokenomics, and decentralized finance (DeFi) mechanisms.
- Familiarity with cloud-native blockchain deployments, prioritizing GCP, followed by AWS/Azure.
