Job Description
Hadoop Specialist is required for a long-term fully remote B2B contracting position.
Yo will be working with huge complex datasets, tackling challenging problems within large-scale automed environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and running operations for MapR flavor of Hadoop ecosystem
- Creating automation pipelines and package upgrade deployments
- Troubleshooting OPS issues and correct configurations
- Upgrading key ecosystem packages and keeping deployments running smoothly
Key skills/expeirence:
- Hadoop (5 years)
- Ansible
- Github
- Jenkins
- Git & GitOps
Nice to have:
- Hadoop MapR
- Terraform
- Kubernetes
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
