As an Associate Product Manager at Magic, you'll play a crucial role in our product development process while leading a team of Product Coordinators. This position is integral to Magic's transition to a new business model, where you'll bridge the gap between strategic product vision and tactical execution. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, build, and launch innovative solutions that enhance our platform's value proposition.

The impact you’ll make:

Product Strategy & Development

• Contribute to product strategy and roadmap planning aligned with business objectives


• Translate high-level product vision into detailed requirements and specifications


• Lead the creation and prioritization of user stories in collaboration with the senior product team


• Develop and maintain product documentation, including PRDs and feature specifications


• Ensure products meet quality standards through thorough testing and validation

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of Product Coordinators, providing guidance and direction


• Establish efficient workflows and processes for the coordination team


• Set clear expectations and metrics for team performance


• Conduct regular check-ins and provide constructive feedback


• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the liaison between product, engineering, design, and business teams


• Facilitate productive communication and collaboration across departments


• Present product updates and gather feedback from internal stakeholders


• Manage relationships with alpha testers and early users to gather valuable insights


• Articulate product value propositions to various stakeholders

Product Analytics & Improvement

• Monitor key product metrics and KPIs using data analytics tools


• Identify areas for improvement based on user feedback and performance data


• Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities


• Recommend product enhancements that drive user adoption and satisfaction


• Create and maintain dashboards to track product performance

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 1-3 years of experience in product management or related fields


• Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and methodologies


• Experience with project management and product tools (e.g., Shortcut, Notion, Figma)


• An analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions


• Excellent communication and presentation skills


• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles


• Familiarity with AI technologies and trends


• Team leadership and mentoring capabilities


• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
