About Us:

Montoya Marketing Limited, with its brand Reservi, is revolutionising the beauty and wellness industry in Colombia. We are building a comprehensive booking and operations platform designed to streamline salon management and enhance customer experiences. Our team operates fully remotely, bringing a blend of UK and Colombian expertise to the Latin American market.

We are looking for a Junior UI (User Interface) Designer

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a full-time UX/UI design role (E-Commerce or Beauty sector is a plus.)
• Portfolio (MANDATORY) showing experience designing high-fidelity UI and UX concepts
• Strong current knowledge in Figma (Variables, Advanced Autolayout, Design Systems)
• Basic knowledge of UX principles, user flows, and usability best practices.
• Passionate about design and eager to learn from more experienced designers.
• Be comfortable working with Agile frameworks and start-up environments.
• Graphic Design knowledge is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completing the end-to-end design process across multiple platforms.
• Participate in design critiques, reviews, and user testing sessions to gather feedback and insights.
• Contribute to the design of visually engaging and user-friendly interfaces across web and mobile platforms.
• Assist in maintaining and evolving the existing design system in Figma.
• Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and development teams to bring UI concepts to life.
• Support in translating user research and business requirements into thoughtful design decisions,
• Support first-stage marketing efforts with graphic and visual design.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that communicate design intentions clearly.
• Ensure visual consistency across all user touchpoints in line with the brand guidelines.
• Stay informed on current UI trends, tools, and best practices.
