Lead - AWS - Cloud - Infrastructure - Engineer - Architect - AWS

I am currently partnered with a trading firm that is looking for a Lead Cloud Architect Engineer.

They are looking for someone to lead the design, architecture and implementation of a scalable, secure, reliable low latency trading infrastructure using AWS cloud infrastructure.

The successful candidate will possess a blend of technical prowess, hands-on expertise, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a collaborative spirit. If you have a background in low-latency development, your profile will stand out even more.

Technical Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Design and Architecture: Lead the design, architecture and implementation of a scalable, secure, reliable low latency trading infrastructure on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Technical Implementation and Configuration: Hands-on implementation, configuration and management of infrastructure components (networking, cloud services, internal/external data sources and storage, containerisation).
• AWS Cloud Management and Optimisation: Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, ensuring security, scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
  
  

Key technologies: AWS, VPN, VPC Peering, EC2, S3, Lambda, Aurora, Docker/Kubernetes. Apache Airflow, AWS networking concepts such as VPN, VPC peering, subnets, security groups, NAT gateways. AWS CloudWatch or equivalent. Kafka or similar data streaming components.
