About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and driven Entry-Level Backend Developer (Node.js) to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for developers with a strong foundation in backend development who are eager to work with modern technologies, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and have the opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow rapidly in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js (Express.js or NestJS).
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Support deployment tasks on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code following software engineering best practices.
• Participate in writing unit and integration tests and support basic performance checks.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver features.
• Be open to learning CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and system monitoring tools.

Requirements

• 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js backend development.
• Basic knowledge of REST API development and Express.js or NestJS.
• Familiarity with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to Swagger/OpenAPI for API documentation is a plus.
• Understanding of Git and version control.
• Willingness to learn cloud platforms, event-driven architecture, and deployment tools.
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.
