As a Front-End Developer at Innovate Group, you will be responsible for building visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web and desktop applications. You will collaborate with our team to develop code that meets both user needs and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable frontend solutions, ensuring seamless performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including new features, bug fixes, and technical debt elimination.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform unit testing. Work closely with QA teams to resolve issues during development cycles.
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and maintain scalable systems that handle large data volumes.
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including story writing, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.

What Were Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years in frontend development, with 3+ years in a leadership role for web applications.
• Technical Skills:
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, React, CSS, and modern frontend technologies (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
• Strong understanding of browser performance optimization and object-oriented programming.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and Git/version control systems.
• Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to thrive in a collaborative, distributed team environment.
• Mindset: Detail-oriented, problem-solving attitude, and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with design tools like Figma and prototyping tools like Storybook.
• Experience with real-time location technologies (e.g., Google Maps API, GPS hardware, BLE tags).
• Industry experience in automotive or health tech.
• Background in working with globally distributed teams.
