Part time On-page SEO specialist (Remote, Armenia-Based)
Location: Remote, Armenia (Applications from candidates based outside of Armenia will not be considered.)
Pareto SEO is a small ecommerce specialist agency seeking an experienced On-Page SEO Specialist / SEO manager to manage the content strategy and technical health for 5 of our dedicated ecommerce clients. You will play a key role in ensuring our clients' websites are technically sound, their content is high-quality, and their products are perfectly optimized for search engines.
This role is perfectly suited for a detailed-oriented SEO professional who is comfortable working with WordPress and Shopify, enjoys managing content workflows, and has a keen eye for on-page optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Keyword Research & Strategy: Conduct keyword research to identify high-value topics and content gaps, directly informing the monthly content plan for 5 clients.
- Manage Content Calendars: Oversee the content schedule, ensuring topics are relevant, targeted, and delivered on time.
- Content Quality Assurance: Review, edit, and proofread content submitted by our writers to ensure it meets quality standards, brand tone, and SEO best practices.
- CMS Management: Upload, format, and publish content directly to WordPress and Shopify websites. This includes proper formatting of headings, images, internal linking, and meta data.
- On-Page Optimization: Implement optimization suggestions, including updating Title Tags, Meta Descriptions, H1-H6 tags, and image Alt text to improve organic visibility.
- Technical Audits: Conduct routine technical health checks using Ahrefs/SEMrush and Google Search Console to identify and fix errors such as 404s, redirect loops, or indexing issues.
- Performance Monitoring: Use Google Analytics and GSC to monitor traffic and keyword rankings, reporting improvements to the account manager.
Essential Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:
- Tool Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and industry tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush.
- CMS Expertise: Hands-on experience with both WordPress and Shopify backends. You must be comfortable navigating these platforms to upload content and make changes.
- Keyword Research Skills: Ability to find low-competition/high-intent keywords and map them to specific content pieces.
- On-Page Expertise: A deep understanding of on-page ranking factors (keyword placement, internal linking structures, URL structure, and user experience).
- Technical Basics: Ability to run and interpret basic technical audits. You should be able to identify a problem and either fix it or explain it clearly.
- Fluency in English: (Both spoken and written) is non-negotiable, as you will be reviewing content written in English.
