Job Description
Our client is a nonprofit organization recognized globally for advancing the hard sciences and publishing leading scientific journals. The Senior Business Analyst will support data integration, reporting, and visualization efforts to enhance decision-making processes across the organization. This is a fully remote, full-time contract position paying $35-$45 per hour. Candidates must be able to work Eastern Time Zone hours.
Responsibilities
- Create visualizations, reports, and analyses of marketing and enterprise data using tools like Tableau and Excel to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales leaders to understand business requirements, identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Capture the full customer journey, including lead qualification, conversion, and ROI analysis.
- Measure member engagement and propensity to renew, lapse, or increase participation.
- Document processes and technology, providing recommendations to improve business workflows and tools.
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly marketing KPI/ROI reports and train end-users on report and dashboard utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, Business, or Marketing, with a Master’s Degree in a related quantitative discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a data analysis or business analytics role.
- Proven expertise in data cleaning, reporting, and visualization.
- Proficiency with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
- Working knowledge of coding languages such as R, Python, SAS, or SQL.
- Strong understanding of marketing analytics and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Team-oriented with strong time and workload management skills.
