Business Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced business analyst to lead the requirements gathering and implementation planning for our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This remote position will play a crucial role in understanding our business processes across departments, translating stakeholder needs into comprehensive ERP requirements, and ensuring successful system implementation that supports our mission to transform construction through AI-powered solutions.


Key Responsibilities

ERP Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Lead comprehensive requirements gathering for ERP system implementation across all business functions (HR, Finance, Operations, Projects, Inventory)
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops with department heads and team members to understand current processes and future needs
  • Document clear functional and technical requirements for ERP modules
  • Create world-class specifications, user stories, process maps, and data flow diagrams for ERP implementation
  • Identify gaps between current processes and ERP capabilities, recommending solutions and customizations

Business Process Documentation & Mapping

  • Map current business processes (as-is) across all departments
  • Design future state processes (to-be) optimized for ERP implementation
  • Document process workflows, business rules, and integration requirements
  • Ensure ERP system design aligns with construction industry best practices and AI integration needs

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Act as primary liaison between business users, technical teams, and ERP vendors/consultants
  • Facilitate requirements workshops and validation sessions in both Arabic and English
  • Present findings, requirements documents, and implementation plans to management
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across departments

System Analysis & Vendor Support

  • Evaluate ERP system capabilities against business requirements
  • Support vendor selection process with detailed requirement specifications
  • Participate in system demonstrations and proof-of-concept evaluations
  • Assist in creating test scenarios and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans

Implementation Support

  • Support ERP implementation team with clarifications on requirements
  • Participate in system configuration reviews and testing phases
  • Develop training materials and documentation for end-users
  • Track project progress and milestone achievements

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with proven ERP implementation experience
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering for enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, or similar)
  • Previous involvement in at least one full ERP implementation lifecycle

Language Skills

  • Fluent in Arabic (written and verbal)—REQUIRED
  • Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal)—REQUIRED
  • Ability to conduct business analysis activities in both languages

Technical Skills

  • Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar)
  • Expertise in requirements elicitation techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys, process modeling)
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, or similar)
  • Experience with requirements management tools
  • Strong documentation skills using tools like Notion, Confluence, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of business process modeling notation (BPMN) or similar methodologies

  • Strong facilitation and workshop management skills
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

  • MBA or Master's degree in relevant field
  • Experience with ERP systems specifically in construction, engineering, or project-based industries
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or similar)
  • Experience with specific ERP platforms (SAP Business One, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo)
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their integration with enterprise systems
  • Experience in early-stage or startup environments
  • Knowledge of data migration strategies and master data management
  • Familiarity with change management principles for system implementations
  • Previous experience working remotely in distributed teams
