As a member of the GE Vernova HQ team, the Sr. Technical Product Manager – Premium Events is responsible for implementing the technical and broadcasting direction for the Executive leadership team, Investor Relations, while partnering collaboratively across the communications, marketing and brand organizations. This includes event facilitation and support for: Quarterly Earnings, Investor Day, CEO employee all hands, customer events, etc. This role ensures outcomes are delivered on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality.

Job Description

  • Interacts with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to deliver features and products.
  • Shows increasing understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product.
  • Conducts customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborates on personas.
  • Demonstrates ability to influence customers and product managers through persuasion and influencing.
  • Prioritizes continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.
  • Translates unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit.
  • Partners with Service Owners/ Development Managers to ensure healthy development process.
  • Manages extended CW team of production assistants & video editors
  • Enables content for Broadcast events
  • Coordinates and works directly with internal marketing teams, external agencies and internal event meeting planners
  • Ensure the quality operation and availability of A/V equipment in executive off site conference rooms including preparation for executive meetings.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and 3+ years of professional experience in executive broadcasting or related function; or, High School Diploma / GED and 7+ years of professional related experience.

Technical Expertise

  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity broadcast A/V equipment/software (including Audio/video consoles, video editing software, broadcast solutions, recording equipment...)

  • Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.
  • Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices.
  • Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a single synthesized perspective to the scrum team. Balances value propositions for competing stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the competitive environment.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of technologies in the market to help make buy vs build recommendations, scope MVPs, and to drive market timing decisions.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $82,400.00 and $123,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
