As a NOC Technician, your mission is to ensure the stability, security, and performance of complex network and system infrastructures for a cloud-based systems company. Youβll be the first line of defense against incidents, continuously improving efficiency and performanceβboth human and machine.
Hereβs what your day-to-day could look like:
- Monitor, detect, and troubleshoot network/system issues to ensure seamless uptime and system availability.
- Analyze alerts and identify patternsβdevelop automation to minimize recurring issues.
- Generate uptime, bandwidth, and performance reports that help drive smarter decisions.
- Assist with network upgrades, configuration improvements, and patch management.
- Document SOPs, incident resolutions, and system changes to build team knowledge.
- Provide occasional customer support and collaborate across departments to deliver end-to-end excellence.
- Mitigate security risks across all levels of the network and system environments.
- Implement and maintain routing, switching, firewalls, and secure remote access systems.

- You keep network and system uptime high and incident resolution time low.
- You consistently meet SLA benchmarks and reporting standards.
- You contribute to a secure, resilient infrastructure with fewer recurring issues.
Must-Haves:
- 3β5+ years in a NOC, IT support, or network admin role.
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals, system performance, and security best practices.
- Experience with:
- π§ Networking Equipment: Sophos, Aruba, Ruckus, Ubiquiti (routers, switches, firewalls)
- π Protocols: BGP, OSPF, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP
- π‘ Tools: NinjaOne, SolarWinds, LionGard, or other RMM/MDM/NMM platforms
- βοΈ Virtualization & Cloud: Microsoft Azure, Hyper-V, VMware
- Excellent communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to learn fast and adaptβyouβre not afraid of change.
