You will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing online communities, and executing impactful social media campaigns that drive awareness and engagement. Working in a fully remote environment, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and daily operations. Accountabilities
- Plan, manage, and maintain social media content calendars while defining and tracking key performance indicators
- Create, curate, schedule, and publish high-quality content across multiple social platforms
- Monitor social channels daily, respond to comments and messages, and actively foster a positive and engaged online community
- Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns, including budget management and optimization
- Track performance metrics, analyze results, and report on campaign effectiveness and return on investment
- Ensure all content and interactions align with brand voice, values, and visual identity
- Stay up to date with platform algorithms, emerging trends, and best practices to maintain relevance and impact

- Proven professional experience in social media marketing or social media management
- Strong experience creating social media copy, visuals, and managing paid social advertising
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote work environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Experience working with nonprofit or mission-driven organizations is strongly preferred

- Fully remote contract position with flexible work structure
- Hourly compensation expected in the range of $20–$30, depending on experience and scope
- Flexible scheduling outside of core Pacific Time availability
