Job Description

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and amplifying a mission-driven digital presence across multiple social platforms. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing online communities, and executing impactful social media campaigns that drive awareness and engagement. Working in a fully remote environment, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and daily operations. This position offers a balance of creative ownership, data-driven decision-making, and meaningful impact. You will help ensure consistency, relevance, and performance across all social channels. Accountabilities

  • Plan, manage, and maintain social media content calendars while defining and tracking key performance indicators
  • Create, curate, schedule, and publish high-quality content across multiple social platforms
  • Monitor social channels daily, respond to comments and messages, and actively foster a positive and engaged online community
  • Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns, including budget management and optimization
  • Track performance metrics, analyze results, and report on campaign effectiveness and return on investment
  • Ensure all content and interactions align with brand voice, values, and visual identity
  • Stay up to date with platform algorithms, emerging trends, and best practices to maintain relevance and impact

Requirements

  • Proven professional experience in social media marketing or social media management
  • Strong experience creating social media copy, visuals, and managing paid social advertising
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote work environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Experience working with nonprofit or mission-driven organizations is strongly preferred
