Job Description
We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.
We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being.
We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare.
Rula is a remote-first company. We currently hire in most U.S. states, with the exception of Hawaii.
About The Role
As the Sr. Content & Social Marketing Manager, you’ll spearhead and evolve Rula’s content ecosystem across organic social (eg. Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and owned content surfaces (eg. blog, website surfaces) at a pivotal moment of brand growth. Owning both strategy and content creation, you’ll ensure our content remains culturally relevant, clinically grounded, and performance-driven. You’ll lead and mentor a growing content team and partner closely with your marketing peers – across Growth, Lifecycle, Creative Studio, and PR – building the operating model that allows us to scale high-quality content efficiently and responsibly.
This is an opportunity to join a mission-driven company and shape how people experience Rula at scale. You’ll bring a strong point of view on quickly evolving content strategy & creative best practices — across organic social, SEO and emerging AI-driven discovery — translating audience and cultural insights into storytelling that resonates emotionally while delivering measurable business impact. Your success will be defined by your ability to inspire through others, apply data insights to content creative strategy, and continuously evolve how content builds trust, engagement, and growth.
As a member of the Brand leadership team, you’ll help connect brand, culture, and performance across the organization. You’ll navigate complexity, move quickly when cultural moments arise, and make thoughtful tradeoffs in a regulated healthcare environment. This role is ideal for a content leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy and creative execution — and who believes great content can both perform and genuinely help people feel less alone.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant marketing experience, with at least 3+ years focused in content marketing specifically, including hands-on experience managing individuals overseeing organic social and other owned content channels
- Experience leading cutting-edge content strategy that delivers on audience needs, cultural trends, brand values and business goals – with a constant eye on leveraging industry best practices to create clear, compassionate, human, and brand-aligned content
- Direct involvement producing and directing multi-format content, with strength in video, long-form writing, and storytelling
- Deep understanding of SEO, search evolution and AI-driven discovery
- Expertise in the tools utilized for social media management, social listening and creative asset management (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout, Meltwater, Canva, YouTube Studio, CapCut)
- Proven track record of operating with speed within ambiguity, pivoting quickly for cultural moments and making sound decisions without perfect information
- Strong data literacy and analytical mindset, with familiarity using metrics to evaluate performance and optimize strategies
