About The Role

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive Amazon PPC professional who thrives in execution, optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. You will serve as a key partner to the Advertising Manager, taking ownership of campaign implementation, optimization, and reporting across multiple client accounts.

You’ll manage day-to-day Amazon advertising operations including keyword research, SEO support, PPC strategy execution, DSP campaigns, and cross-department coordination to ensure seamless marketing performance.

Success in this role means not just launching campaigns, but:

  • Driving profitable growth through cost-efficient advertising
  • Managing budgets responsibly while maximizing ROAS
  • Collaborating effectively with creative, listings, and operations teams
  • Maintaining smooth, high-performing advertising systems for clients
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and supporting team training

Responsibilities

Amazon Advertising Execution & Strategy

  • Own day-to-day management of Amazon PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP)
  • Conduct keyword research and develop SEO-informed campaign strategies
  • Launch, structure, and optimize campaigns for both new and established sellers
  • Manage bids, budgets, placements, and targeting to meet ACOS and revenue goals
  • Track and improve performance metrics across all programs

Performance Optimization & Budget Management

  • Monitor campaign performance daily and weekly
  • Maintain monthly budget pacing and revenue projections
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and scaling opportunities
  • Adjust spend based on client targets, max ACOS, and performance data
  • Develop and track success criteria and KPIs for all advertising initiatives

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with creative, listing, and operations teams to ensure alignment
  • Support timely implementation of strategies and deliverables
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and monthly all-hands meetings
  • Keep stakeholders informed on progress, challenges, and opportunities
  • Share industry best practices, training resources, and insights

Additional Marketing Support

  • Implement promotions, discounts, and coupons
  • Support off-Amazon traffic strategies and SEO initiatives
  • Utilize tools like AHRefs (or similar) to drive external traffic
  • Provide coaching and guidance to other team member

Competencies And Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 2+ years of Amazon PPC experience or comparable ecommerce advertising experience
  • Amazon PPC Certification (required)
  • Amazon DSP Certification (required)
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central operations
  • Experience managing and structuring PPC budgets
  • Comfortable with Slack, Google Suite, and online collaboration tools
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting dashboards
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Walmart or eBay advertising consoles
  • Understanding of off-Amazon SEO and external traffic strategies
  • Experience in agency or multi-client environments
  • Background in ecommerce, direct response marketing, or digital growth marketing
