About The Role
The SEO Specialist will drive the growth of the client’s organic visibility, traffic, and revenue through data-driven SEO strategies. This includes conducting keyword research that accounts for seasonality and market trends, executing SEO-focused content initiatives such as blogs and on-page optimization, and ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
The role collaborates closely with the Web Development team to prioritize technical SEO requirements, while also working lightly with CRO, UX, and campaign teams to support broader business goals. Success will be measured by improved organic rankings, increased qualified traffic, and a clear connection to revenue growth, all tracked through analytics and reporting.
Responsibilities
Keyword Research, Seasonality Mapping and SEO Roadmap - 15%
- Identify high-volume, high-intent keyword opportunities and competitive gaps.
- Build seasonal demand mapping (monthly and weekly trends) by pest, room, and use-case to guide the content calendar.
- Produce a prioritized SEO roadmap (new pages, refreshes, blog themes) based on research and opportunity sizing.
- Create SEO briefs with intent mapping, structure, FAQs, internal links, and acceptance criteria.
- Write and publish SEO-driven blogs (and/or manage production) with strong intent match and on-brand clarity.
- Refresh and expand existing content to maintain rankings and improve click-through rate and engagement.
- Ensure content supports trust and purchase confidence with clear education and use-case guidance.
- Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings, and content modules for rankings and SERP click-through rate.
- Improve internal linking across collections, PDPs, and blogs to strengthen topical authority and discovery paths.
- Coordinate with merchandising to keep SEO priorities aligned with product availability and focus.

- Monitor crawlability and indexation health and translate issues into clear dev tickets (canonicals, duplication, schema, template rules).
- Validate technical changes using Google Search Console and QA checks after releases.
- Maintain SEO hygiene requirements for new templates and new content types.
- Deliver weekly and monthly reporting on organic growth: non-branded clicks, rankings, click-through rate, index coverage, top landing pages, and organic revenue and assists.
- Use GA4 to connect content actions to performance outcomes, segmented by landing page type, device, and channel overlap.
- Annotate reporting for seasonality, promotions, releases, and major site changes; convert insights into next actions.
- Optimize content and site structure so LLMs can confidently surface the client’s answers and cite client pages.
- Create and maintain LLM-friendly content patterns (clear definitions, structured FAQs, consistent entities, concise how-to steps, and strong page hierarchy).
- Coordinate with Web Dev on structured components when needed (schema enhancements, FAQ modules, glossary patterns, and other machine-readable elements).
- Provide minor SEO support for the website and, if needed, other new sites (keyword research, priority pages, on-page basics, and performance tracking).
- Apply consistent SEO and LLM-readiness standards across sites where relevant, without compromising the primary focus on main website

- 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an SEO Specialist, SEO Strategist, or equivalent role with measurable impact
- Advanced proficiency in GA4 (required), with working knowledge of Google Search Console and familiarity with Google Merchant Center
- Strong working knowledge of SEO platforms such as SEMrush (or equivalent tools like Ahrefs), including keyword research, competitive analysis, and performance tracking
- Experience producing or overseeing SEO-driven content, with a portfolio demonstrating keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and copywriting quality
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate research, content drafting, and analysis, while applying strong editorial judgment and human refinement
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and stakeholder-ready presentations
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to spot gaps, issues, and opportunities before they impact performance
- Clear and confident communicator, able to collaborate effectively with content, web development, merchandising, and growth teams
- Analytical and intellectually curious, with a strong instinct for testing, learning, and continuous improvement
