Senior QA Automation Engineer

This role focuses on designing and executing testing strategies, building automation solutions, and ensuring high-quality product releases. The ideal candidate combines strong technical automation expertise with strong analytical thinking and collaboration skills.

Responsabilities

Test Planning & Execution

✔ Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies (UI, integrations, end-to-end workflows)

✔ Create and maintain detailed test cases based on user stories and requirements

✔ Identify ambiguities, missing acceptance criteria, edge cases, and potential risks

✔ Perform in-sprint, regression, UAT, integration, and end-to-end testing

✔ Track execution results and document defects with clear reproduction steps

✔ Verify bug fixes and ensure product quality before release

Automation & Technical Implementation

✔ Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using:

• Java

• Selenium

• Cypress

• TestRigor

✔ Promote automation-first testing practices

✔ Improve automation coverage and maintain test scripts

Data Validation & System Verification

✔ Use SQL to validate application behavior against backend databases

✔ Ensure data integrity and proper system integrations

Collaboration

✔ Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and QA team members

✔ Participate actively in Agile ceremonies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

• Strong QA Automation experience with Java & Selenium

• Hands-on experience with Cypress

• Experience working with TestRigor

• Solid SQL and database validation knowledge

• Experience testing complex, multi-system applications

• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and QA best practices

• Strong communication

• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
