UI/UX Designer (Shopify)

Colored Byte is looking for a UI Designer (UI UX).

This is a fully remote position at a fast-growing Shopify design and development agency, full of awesome people and exciting e-commerce projects and brands! This is a position where you have the chance to grow with us so you don't need to be the most experienced person in the world. We like to invest in people :)

What you will do:

• Design E-commerce stores using Shopify (no code) and Figma
• Master Shopify and the Shopify app ecosystem
• Have calls and direct communication with clients and team members in english
• Handle multiple projects at the same time
• Talk to developers and Project managers to estimate hours needed to design a feature
• Do presentations with clients to present work and defend your design decisions
• Recommend and Implement design solutions for clients
• Work with the project manager and the available tools to ensure delivery
• Be awesome at communication with the team

What you'll need:

• Amazing client facing, design presentation skills
• 1 year experience working for an agency or similar high pressure environment
• Not being afraid of clients and being able to handle difficult or delicate situations if they arise
• Amazing communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Consistent capacity of 40 hours weekly (full time)
• Being available within the central time timezone
• Fluent English speaking, reading and writing
• Being familiar with Slack, Asana/Monday/Clickup and willingness to learn new tools
• Learning/adapting fast
• Common sense (solving problems on your own)

Bonus if you:

• Previous experience with E-commerce working at an agency or brand
