Job Description


The Position


We are looking for an Email Marketing Manager to build, scale, and optimize our email marketing as a core growth and revenue channel.

You will own lifecycle communication, automation, and campaign strategy, working closely with product, growth, and content teams. This role combines strategy, analytics, and hands-on execution from segmentation and messaging to automation and optimization.


Duties


  • Strategic planning and continuous optimization of our email marketing channel
  • Building and managing lifecycle campaigns (onboarding, activation, retention, reactivation, upsell)
  • Creating high-performing email content including copy, structure, and messaging
  • Planning and executing newsletters, product updates, and promotional campaigns
  • Developing segmentation strategies based on user behavior, lifecycle stage, and value
  • Building and optimizing automated workflows and drip campaigns
  • A/B testing subject lines, content, timing, and conversion paths
  • Analyzing performance metrics such as open rate, CTR, conversion, retention, and revenue impact
  • Collaborating with product and growth teams to align messaging with features and monetization
  • Supporting broader marketing and content initiatives with CRM and email insights


Requirements


  • Strong experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or CRM-focused roles
  • Proven track record building and scaling email as a growth and revenue channel
  • Excellent English skills, written and spoken
  • Strong copywriting and messaging skills for conversion and engagement
  • Experience with email and CRM platforms (e.g. Customer.io, HubSpot, Braze, Klaviyo, or similar)

  • Solid understanding of segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle strategy
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting campaign and funnel performance
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working in product- and software-driven environments

Compensation

Annual gross salary for this position ranges from €35,000 to €55,000 (full-time), with willingness to offer a market-aligned overpayment depending on qualifications and experience.
