The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and able to manage priorities independently while collaborating with distributed hiring teams.
Job Location: Remote; candidates must be located in the continental US. Minimal to no travel is anticipated.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Support
- Conduct high-volume prescreen interviews via phone and video, speaking with multiple candidates daily to assess qualifications, interest, and cultural fit
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, maintaining consistent communication through phone, email, and virtual platforms
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates aligned with role requirements
- Manage and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring candidate data is accurate and current
- Coordinate and schedule virtual interviews across multiple time zones
- Create, prepare, and send offer letters and employment-related documentation electronically
- Post and manage job openings across online job boards and professional networks
HR & Administrative Support
- Support remote onboarding processes, including electronic new hire paperwork, background checks, and virtual orientation coordination
- Maintain digital employee and candidate files in compliance with company policies and employment regulations
- Track and report recruiting activity and pipeline metrics such as prescreen volume and time-to-fill
- Respond to candidate and employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Partner with hiring managers and leadership in a fully remote setting to understand hiring needs and timelines
- Identify opportunities to improve virtual recruiting workflows, ATS usage, and candidate experience
- Support employer branding efforts through online recruiting initiatives and virtual events
Key Skills & Experience
- 1–3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, or HR support
- Strong comfort conducting frequent phone-based conversations with candidates throughout the workday
- Experience managing moderate to high volumes of prescreen interviews in a remote or virtual environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a polished and professional phone presence
- Strong written communication skills for email and electronic correspondence
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other remote collaboration tools

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation:
The salary is budgeted at $55,000-$60,000 annually, plus benefits. ThunderYard offers benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k matching, PTO, certification reimbursement and more.
Vetting:
Candidates selected will be subject to a background and drug screening as part of the onboarding process.
