The Role

As COO and right-hand to the CEO, you will be responsible for translating the CEO’s vision into operational execution. You will lead cross-functional teams, define business processes, and scale operations to support growth, while ensuring alignment across scientific, technical, and commercial teams.
You will also act as a strategic advisor, helping guide fundraising, operational strategy, and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the CEO on strategic planning and operational execution
- Lead and scale cross-functional teams (product, tech, scientific, commercial)
- Design and implement scalable processes to support growth and operational efficiency
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation

Your Background
- Proven experience as COO, Head of Operations, or equivalent leadership role in a Series B or Series C biotech / deep tech / AI company
- Strong business acumen and strategic mindset
- Hands-on experience with AI or data-driven technologies in a commercial or operational context
- Experience scaling teams, processes, and operations in high-growth organisations
- Comfortable bridging science, technology, and business
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
