We are a fast-growing game outsourcing studio providing high-quality art and development services to clients in Vietnam and global markets. Our teams collaborate with international partners to create engaging game content across multiple genres, including mobile games and iGaming (casino and slot games).

To support our expansion and strengthen our creative leadership, we are looking for a talented Art Director who can lead the artistic vision of our projects and ensure high-quality visual delivery for global clients.

Job Overview

The Art Director will be responsible for defining and maintaining the visual style and artistic quality across multiple game projects. This role involves working closely with artists, designers, producers, and external clients to ensure the art direction aligns with both the creative vision and production requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in game art production, especially in iGaming, casino, or slot games, and has successfully led art teams in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Artistic Vision & Direction

Define and maintain the artistic vision and visual style across multiple game projects.

Ensure consistency in visual quality across all assets including characters, environments, UI, animations, and effects.

Develop and communicate clear art guidelines, references, and visual standards for production teams.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor a team of 2D/3D artists, UI artists, animators, and illustrators.

Provide feedback and guidance to ensure high-quality artistic output.

Support recruitment and development of the art team as the studio grows.

Production Oversight

Work closely with Producers and Project Managers to ensure art assets are delivered on time and meet project requirements.

Balance creative quality with production efficiency.

Identify potential risks in the art pipeline and implement solutions.

Client Collaboration

Communicate with international clients and stakeholders to understand their creative vision and requirements.

Present art concepts and ensure the final delivery meets client expectations.

Adapt art styles to match different game genres and client needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Game Designers, Developers, and Product teams to integrate art into gameplay effectively.

Ensure smooth collaboration between art, design, and technical teams.

Requirements

Experience

7–10+ years of experience in game art production.

3+ years in a senior art leadership role such as Lead Artist or Art Director.

Strong experience in game outsourcing studios or game development companies.

Experience working on iGaming, casino, or slot games is highly preferred.

Skills

Strong understanding of game art pipelines and production workflows.

Excellent artistic skills in composition, color, lighting, and visual storytelling.

Ability to guide teams across multiple art styles and project types.

Strong communication skills when working with international clients and distributed teams.

Technical Knowledge

Experience with industry tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Spine, After Effects, Unity, or similar tools.

Understanding of UI/UX for games and player-focused visual design.

Preferred

Experience working with global game studios or international clients.

Strong understanding of slot game art styles and casino game aesthetics.

Experience managing large art teams or multiple projects simultaneously.
