Job Description

ONSITE ROLE - LIBEREC


Our client is a leading provider of critical subsystems, components and services, primarily serving the semiconductor industry. Their facility in Liberec – with 700 employees - specializes in precision machining, chemical and gas delivery systems, and system integration.

Globally, the company employs over 6,000 people and plays a key role in the technology ecosystem, contributing to advancements in smartphones, smart vehicles, and artificial intelligence. The Liberec site focuses on innovation and high-quality solutions, aligning with the company's commitment to exceeding customer expectations.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and upskill the HR teams (3 teams – dotted line; 1 HR Generalist directly), ensuring alignment with HR strategic planning and scorecard objectives
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic guidance on talent and organizational development
  • Execute global HR programs in compliance with local labor laws, ensuring timely rollout and harmonized implementation of core people processes
  • Support strategic workforce planning, team development, and employee engagement through effective HR measures and initiatives
  • Address complex employee relations issues, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements, fostering a positive work environment
  • Oversee HR budget planning, track HR metrics, manage key processes like performance management, merit increases, payroll accuracy, and involuntary termination exercises (RIF, MSA)
  • Leverage Centers of Excellence (COEs) to implement programs enhancing employee engagement and success. Support organizational change and transformation efforts
  • Conduct monthly audits of HR systems for data accuracy and provide subject-matter expertise on policies, employee relations, and disciplinary matters
  • Continuously improve HR strategies by researching and applying market best practices.


Requirements

  • Relevant BSc/MSc degree
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in HR
  • 3+ years of experience in a Director role or equivalent level
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience in a matrix organization
  • Experience in change management
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and local employment/industrial relations legislation
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent team player
  • Willingness for relocation to/near Liberec
