Software Engineer (Java / Kotlin / Scala)

• Innovate: 90% of your work will be dedicated to developing new features and products. 

• Lead: Take responsibility for the entire product lifecycle from conception to deployment. 

• Collaborate: Work with cutting-edge technologies including: 

            Scala 

            AWS CloudFormation 

            AWS Lambda 

            A variety of other AWS Services 

            Frontend: Vue.js, Quasar, Vite, Storybook, TypeScript, Javascript 

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years in back-end programming with languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala. 

• Eagerness to Learn: Openness and willingness to work on a front-end development. 

• Best Practices: Solid coding practices including unit testing. 

• Tech Enthusiasm: A genuine interest in technology and architecture, with a knack for discussing and exploring different solutions. 

• Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Language Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English. 

 

Nice to have:  

• Scala Experience: Previous experience with Scala is a plus. 

• Prior experience with modern front-end technologies is an advantage. 

• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of HL IT Products and container shipping business is an advantage.
