Its clients include major technology companies, financial institutions, and government agencies, highlighting its role in securing critical digital infrastructure on a broad scale.
2. About the Opportunity:
The IT Operations Engineer will own and enhance the internal IT infrastructure, security compliance, and employee technology experience for a highly technical, security-focused workforce. This role involves aligning internal IT systems with the rigorous standards set for external clients by building scalable automation and tooling. It requires assessing and strengthening existing systems, improving operational discipline, and enabling a seamless technology environment for a fully remote, globally distributed team. The position holds significant accountability for endpoint management, SaaS administration, security compliance, and cloud infrastructure. It is intended for a candidate who can work independently while collaborating closely with security experts.
3. Responsibilities:
• Test, deploy, and maintain MDM solutions and endpoint security tools
• Manage primarily macOS devices alongside Windows and Linux endpoints
• Ensure configuration repository and deployed systems remain in strict parity
• Oversee device lifecycle management and automated onboarding/offboarding
• Enforce macOS update policies and patch management
• Manage SaaS identity and access, including provisioning, suspension, and regular audits
• Integrate and maintain SSO across platforms
• Maintain credential management systems and conventions
• Maintain SOC 2 compliance and manage related automation tools

• Respond to client security questionnaires and provide compliance documentation
• Manage endpoint detection, network monitoring, email security, and mobile verification tools
• Conduct vulnerability scanning, configuration audits, and patch management
• Monitor and respond to supply chain and dependency security risks
• Write and maintain security policies, runbooks, and documentation
• Manage cloud infrastructure, inventory, cost control, and least-privilege access
• Develop reports on fleet health, compliance, and costs
• Automate repetitive tasks and build self-service internal tools
• Maintain workflow automation and internal tooling infrastructure
• Govern developer tooling access and security
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies with rigorous security vetting
4. Requirements:
• Experience managing macOS devices and MDM solutions (Jamf Pro preferred)
• Knowledge of endpoint security tools such as CrowdStrike Falcon and iVerify
